MH8000PP Combo unit integreerd EMS en TENS functies met 27 preset instellingen en 3 programeerbare instellingen. De preset instellingen worden in de fabriek ingesteld en zijn de, door de gebruikers van deze technologie, meest gebruikte instellingen. De programeerbare kunnen daarnaast nog door de gebruiker ingesteld worden. Deze unit is een hybride stimulator die gebruikt kan worden voor spier stimulatie en pijn reductie!

TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation), ontwikkeld voor symptomatisch verzachting van- en het beheersbaar maken van chronische pijnen. TENS is een veilige en non-invasive, medicijnen-vrije methode van pijn management. "Transcutaneous" betekent "horizontaal aan de huid". Het verzacht de pijn door het sturen van kleine electrische pulsjes door middel van electrodes geplaatst vlakbij het pijn-gebied of druk-gebied van de onderliggende zenuw.

EMS staat voor "Electrical Muscle Stimulation" hetgeen betekent dat de spier juist gestimuleerd wordt om samen te trekken en weer te relaxeren. EMS is een zeer efficiente toevoeging van de "workout" routine. Deze units zijn portable, lichtgewicht en batterij-gevoed. EMS units zijn ontwikkeld om lichaamsspieren te oefenen door de toepassing van een instelbare (in intensiteit en frekwentie) electrische pulsjes, die herhaaldelijk een serie van samentrekkingen en relaxatie van de spieren stimuleert.

5. Electrode Detection (Optional Function): The unit with electrode detection function, the Intensity level will be reset at 0 when an electrode open circuit is detected.
6. Clear Treatment Time: The treatment time count down and the balance treatment time can be read from the LCD.
7. Compliance Meter: The patient compliance timer can memorize 100 sets of therapy session records; the total record time is 400 hours. Doctors can tell whether a patient could continue treatment in accordance with the instructions.
8. ON and OFF time indicator: For EMS function, the Intensity Level that displays on the LCD screen will accordingly switch among Ramp time, ON time and OFF time. This makes it easier for the patient to know to turn up the intensity only during the ON Time, otherwise, the patient might accidentally turn the amplitude way up during the OFF Time, and suddenly have too much stimulation when the unit comes back to ON Time.
9. LOW BATTERY INDICATOR: A low battery indicator will flashes on the LCD only when the battery is low.

10. Modes for EMS: The EMS is an intermittent stimulation. The pulse active and inactive duration are adjustable by setting ON time and OFF time. The contraction gradually increases during ramp-up time and reaches maximum contraction during ON time. During ramp-down
time, the contraction gradually decreases until the OFF time starts.
S (Synchronous) Mode: Stimulation of both channels will occur simultaneously.
A (EMS with Rate Modulation) Mode: This mode is an EMS mode with Rate Modulation stimulation.
11. Modes for TENS:
N (Normal) Mode: Continuous output, pulse rate and pulse width are adjustable.
M (Rate and Width Modulation) Mode: Per cycle time is 1 second. Each cycle contains two phases. During the first 0.5 sec. phase, the Pulse Width runs at 50% of its width setting and Pulse Rate runs at its rate setting, then during the second 0.5 sec. phase, the Pulse Rate runs at 50% of its rate setting and Pulse width runs at its width setting. The cycle is then repeated.
B (Burst) Mode: Pulse width is adjustable from 50~300uS in 10uS per step, Frequency is fixed at 100 Hz, Burst rate is fixed at 2 Hz.
SD (Width Modulation) Mode: Pulse Width is modulated over a period of 3 seconds from its original setting value down to 60% of its setting, then modulated over another 3 seconds period at its original value. The cycle is then repeated. Per cycle time is 6 seconds.
MR (Rate Modulation) Mode: Pulse Rate is modulated over a period of 3 seconds from its original setting value down to 60% of its setting, then modulated over another 3 seconds period at its original setting. The cycle is then repeated. Per cycle time is 6 seconds.
12. Open Electrode Detect: If an open circuit is detected at the output of channel 1 or 2 the output current will be reset at zero. This is
an option function and only active in Pulse Width between from 100uS and 300uS.
13. Contraction Time: Adjustable, from 2-90 seconds, 1sec./step, (EMS only).
14. Relaxation Time: Adjustable, from 2-90 seconds, 1sec./step, (EMS only).
